Before you can start sharing your KCM content directly to Instagram, you'll need an Instagram Business Account. Not sure if yours is Business or Personal? Here's how to find out:
From your phone or mobile device, open and log into your Instagram application. If you do not see a button for the Professional Dashboard on your Profile, you have a Personal account and you'll have to switch your page to a Business Account.
- Once in your Profile tap the three lines in the upper right-hand corner,
- From here scroll to the section labeled "For Professionals" and tap "Account Types and tools"
- Then select "Switch to professional account"
If you see the Professional Dashboard on your Profile you already have a Business or Creator account. In order to use Automation with KCM you'll have to have an Instagram Business Account.
- To check if you have a Business or Creator page you'll tap the Professional Dashboard in your Profile,

Then tap the settings wheel in the top right corner,
- On the next screen, you'll select "Switch Account Type". If you already have a Business account you'll see the option to switch to a personal page or switch to a creator page and you won't have to make any changes. However, if you have a Creator page you'll see the "Switch to Professional Account" option.
